The Junction in Southsea is the perfect place to find amazing and unusual furniture at a sensible price. Here at The Junction we pride ourselves in sourcing very individual pieces and our ability to renovate, restore and enhance vintage and antique items "in house" means our prices are the envy of many an antique shop. Why not check out our latest stock to see if we have the perfect piece for your home. Or sign up to our Twitter and FaceBook pages and we'll keep you updated on sale offers & new stock arriving in the shop.
Painted furniture has always been popular and here at The Junction we specialise in producing amazing results in a range of period colours and effects. Each painted piece is cleaned, the handles, escutcheons, etc are removed and polished and the layers of paint are then applied. Once it is painted, the hard work finishing the piece begins. This is where the expertise of The Junction comes to the fore. Finishing can include, distressing, sanding, stencilling, guilding, waxing and a whole host of other finishes and effects.
In addition to furniture, The Junction also has a wide variety of lighting and lead crystal chandeliers, glass, ornaments, pictures, tassels, tie backs, soft furnishings and other interesting items that take our fancy. Most of our pieces are unique and once they are gone it is unlikely that we will be able to get another. So, if you see something you like, why not e-mail The Junction and we'll put it aside for you or arrange for it to be delivered.
Although The Junction is only a small shop, we have a large number of items that are in our warehouse waiting for a space in the shop, so just because you can't see it in the shop, doesn't mean we don't have it in the warehouse. So why not call in and see for yourself what makes The Junction in Southsea such a unique place ....... and who knows, you might just pick up a bargain!
